What to expect with CPMS’s triaging process:
Once we receive your authorization from your insurance company, your referral, progress notes, pertinent radiology exams and demographics from your referring provider Marina begins to put your chart together.
Within 24 hours of us receiving the above documents Marina will reach out to you. She will notify you of our triaging process and request any additional information that was not sent over.
Marina then contacts your insurance company to review your benefits and eligibility. She verifies what is authorized at your initial visit and what out of pocket expenses you will have.
Typically if we receive all information when you are sent over it takes less than 24 hours to verify your insurance and put your chart together.
Marina then sends your chart over to our triaging nurse. Our triaging nurse then takes a look at your chart; she confirms that we can offer a treatment solution for you. She checks your diagnosis so see if Dr. Chisholm, Dr. Chong, Dr. Wagner or Dr. Sigmon specializes in your pain so that you’re placed with the best provider that can assist you. This process will take less than 24 hours.
At this point 48 or less hours should have passed since we received your information; once the triage nurse notifies Marina that you are approved for a consult. Marina will call you to schedule your appointment.
You will receive a new patient packet that is to be completed online and prior to your initial evaluation.
